Lanzarote Airport is 5 km from the apartment. It's one of the easiest transfers in the Canary Islands.

Exit arrivals, turn right, follow signs to the taxi rank — it's immediately outside the terminal building. Taxis are metered. The fare to Playa Honda is typically €10–12 in the day, slightly more at night or on Sundays. Drivers generally speak enough English. No need to arrange anything in advance. During busy periods (summer, Christmas, late-night arrivals) there can be a long queue at the taxi rank — allow extra time or consider a pre-booked transfer.

Arrecife Bus Line 23 runs between the airport and Arrecife, passing through Playa Honda. The stop closest to the apartment is near the Deiland Shopping Centre. The bus is cheap but infrequent — check the timetable at arrecifebus.com before relying on it. Not ideal with heavy luggage.

All the major car hire companies have desks at Lanzarote Airport arrivals. If you're planning to explore the island, picking up a car at the airport makes sense — you drive straight to the apartment (10 minutes) and have wheels for your whole stay.
We recommend CICAR, the reliable local Canarian company. Their prices are competitive, the cars are well-maintained, and they have a desk inside the terminal. Book in advance online — they sell out during high season (Christmas, Easter, July–August). You don't need a car for daily life in Playa Honda, but it's worth having for excursions.
Pre-booked transfer
Private transfer services can be booked in advance — the main advantage is avoiding the taxi queue, which can be long during peak arrivals (busy summer evenings, Christmas, large flight schedules). Given how close the airport is, the cost difference over a taxi is modest. Worth considering if you're arriving on a busy night or with a large group.
Arriving at the apartment
Check-in is fully contactless. Your unique door code and arrival instructions are sent before your arrival date — no need to wait for anyone or collect a key. Check-in is from 15:00.
There is free street parking directly outside the complex — useful if you've hired a car. If you arrive by taxi, the driver will know Playa Honda and can get you close to the address.
